    Bank Check, actually a Certificate of Deposit on the Geo. Washington Bank of Corning, NY.  Vignette of George Washington but it is covered by stamp.  Certificates of deposit required a five cent stamp.  Sept 20, 1869.   3 1/8 by 8 inches.
